BrookvilleLife.Com is currently looking for "volunteer" Writers and Photographers from the Brookville Pa area to help contribute to the site. We are really just a mom and pop website so we don't have a staff or a budget to hire a staff so we would truly love to find a few people with a keyboard and a camera to help out.

We have learned that of the thousands of people that visit our site monthly more than half come here to see what is going on in Brookville. A lot of this information can be found in our Discussion Forum, but we would love to help them out by publishing more detailed information about upcoming and past events, local news as well as photos from around the area and would truly appreciate any help you can give us.

Whether you are a retiree, student or somewhere in between we would love to see and share what's going on in your Brookville Life. You don't have to be a pro writer or photographer or even be a grammar champion to participate. All you need is a will and we will provide you the way.

If your are interested or would like more information feel free to email us at brookvillelife (at) gmail.com or if you are a member you can send me a Private Message or post something on My Profile Wall and I'll promptly get back in touch with you.

We truly thank you for any help you can provide and look forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks and God Bless,

We are extremely pleased to announce that our re-design is 95% complete and so far testing quite well. All that is left to do now are a few minor tweaks to the design and the addition of several new site sections.

The most noticeable change to the site has to be the new homepage that you are on right now. We no longer are using our discussion forum as the homepage and instead are using this magazine layout. In the coming days we are going to add several new sections to the home page including a local business and events directory.

Needless to say we have a lot going on right now and hope that you find the site enhancements to be useful. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me or post a thread in the forum regarding them.

We are currently updating our site and testing out some new features and this is one of them. We are currently working to add an online magazine that we hope will add more value to our site for both those who frequent it and the community it represents.

This project is very much in its infancy so you should expect to see many updates and tweaks over the coming days and weeks. If during this time you see something crazy or something you think we should know about the sites performance please open a thread about it in THIS FORUM.

We truly appreciate your patience during this time and will work diligently to make this as seamless as possible.
