Local Business Spotlight September 2003 The Kids N Us Daycare is the first of our spotlighted businesses. Located along Route 36, just north of the Allegheny Blvd, it is by far the only choice for my own children and should be seriously considered for yours. Owner Barbera Austen told me they want to stay small and personal so its probably a good idea to check into this sooner than later. They have been in business for almost a year, opening in November of 2002, and have all necessary state licenses as-well-as three PA Certified teachers. Over the past year they have added two playgrounds (fenced), upgraded the Rec Room, increased educational materials, and steadily increased enrollment. Future plans include increasing enrollment (until personal limit is reached), enlarging the kitchen, expanding the playgrounds, installing interior dividers and adding additional shelving. Open Mon-Fri from 6am - 6pm, Sat by appointment and closed Sundays, they accept ages preschool thru teen, and belong to the "Before and After School Dropoff" Program for the Brookville Area Schools. Rates are hourly and include lunch and snacks. Subsidized Childcare is
