My trip and fall the other day got me and my wife talking about our various 'accidents' over the years. Some of them are quite spectacular while others are great examples of stupidity in motion.

It got me curious about YOU. Do you have any great stories about spectacular acts of clumsy you have been involved in? If you share yours I'll share mine and even better yet I'll share rellygirl's which are hilarious since she falls at least once a week.

(For my first see this thread to read about my fall the other day.)

When I was a kid, I was expecting company. My friend was coming to spend the night, and the excitement and good mood got the best of me and when they pulled in I took off running. I wasn't paying attention AT ALL, and totally tripped over a large rock that was in the yard. I did some type of flip, and landed gracefully, I was told. The only thing that hurt was my pride that day, but when I run into the friend, to this day, she reminds me of my fall!

10 points for sticking your landing Guest98.

I was hunting with my cousin one time and we were this huge rock on our property looking out over a valley. The part I was standing on was about 15' off the ground. My cousin wanted to walk to the edge and look over but I suggest he not because there were pine needles there he could slip on. Long story short since I was older I agreed to check it out first and if it was safe he could come over. When I got there and looked over my footing was fine. I turned to him and said "It seems to be ok come over" and my foot slipped on some ice that I was not aware was there and I ended up sliding over the edge of the rock and dropped down the entire 15' and landed perfectly all while still holding my gun. He looked over expecting to find me dead and all he saw was me standing down below wondering how I did not die.

My gosh, that would've been scary, Joe! Especially with you having a gun and all.

I'll tell you what...I LOVE to watch Funniest home videos. I about die laughing at people falling! I always want to be able to say "Are you okay?", but somehow I manage to laugh first and attempt to ask them thru laughter!
