How has President Obama performed so far?

I know that Pres. Obama's administration is still very young, but in your opinion how has he done so far? Has he lived up to your expectations? What could he do better?....

So President Obama- well I guess I should first start and say I was never in favor for him. But it is what it is - and he is our President and i will support him. Do I believe that he has lived up to my expectations- I had very low ones so for me yes yes he has. But as our country for a whole- I think he hasn't done that great of a job. He went in thinking he could change everything- well that can't always happen- we have the Congress and the house to work w/also. Do I think he is really trying to go across lines- yes I do; that in itself is not an easy task. Yes he did get 2 wars and the econmic crisis from President Bush- However did we really need to bail out the big banks and let our blue collar workers out on the streets? Yes I know that they got money also. But w/all the regulations set on them- it takes me a week to get a part for my car that should only take a day. The wars- I am glad that he has sent more troops to Afganistan- I believe that was necessary in order to win that war. Iraq- I believe we have done good there- we have helped those people. I hope they remain stable when we pull out. Hmm the credit card law- yeah thanks to that not going into effect until this month- my card company was kind enough to up my % rate and my minimum payment. Which President Obama could have done something differently there. The health care- yeah we do need- but at what expense for the taxpayers- i don't want somebody who abuses the system to take my more of my money.
I think that President Obama went in with big hopes and dreams- and he can't fufill them- most politicians have that problem. I think if he would have stayed senator for a few more terms he would have been better qualified to run our govt. But like i said before it is what it is.

In our area factories are still closing- I would love to see law makers bring some jobs back to the area- I hear where jobs are going here and there- but none around here. I would like to see him help the middle class a little more- I would love to see the SSI, Medicare, etc- get better; I would like to see people who need help get help and those who are abusing it not get as much-

Wow I think i have gone off topic- I could go on forever about the gov't its policies and what not.

I do agree that he went in with a very aggressive wish list of accomplishments. I remember thinking that there is now way this will all get done. I think the obstacle that every president faces is what is getting him right now. You have to promise the sun, moon and an arm or two to get elected and then you get there and find out you are at the mercy of everyone else to accomplish what you promised. I also fear that he is in too big of a hurry to get things done and is willing to rush things so that he does not look like a first term failure that would lead to him not getting re-elected.
